111 Eighth Avenue has 72,000 amps of 480 volt power which is distributed in multiple risers to each floor.

Emergency Electrical Power
The Building has 27,000 amps of emergency generator power capable of providing power in the event of a ConEdison power failure, low voltage conditions or interruption of service. Generator power can be provided to tenants through the Building paralleling gear or on a stand alone basis.

HVAC
The Building provides the ultimate in tenant flexibility for HVAC. The Building is capable of supplying chilled water, condenser water, or air-cooled HVAC to tenants through a central plan or an independent system. All systems are capable of operating 24 x 7 x 365.

111 Eighth Avenue is one of the most connected buildings in New York as it houses 40 of the leading domestic and international carriers. Sprint, Worldcom and Level 3 Communications operate major voice and data communication Hubs at 111 Eighth Avenue.
